What this layout shows

Watch the reprocessing line that runs from Uranium Waste all the way to Ficsonium Fuel Rod.

How it works

  1. Process Uranium into Uranium Fuel Rod and send it to the Nuclear Power Plants.
  2. Route the Uranium Waste that comes back out into reprocessing, beginning with Non-Fissile Uranium.
  3. Turn the reprocessed material into Plutonium Pellet, then Encased Plutonium Cell, then fuel rods.
  4. Convert the plutonium waste into Ficsonium and carry it through to Ficsonium Fuel Rod.
  5. The fuel rods chosen for power go to the Nuclear Power Plants, while Ficsonium Fuel Rod is taken out as the end of the reprocessing chain.

Calculated at build time

These are not fixed illustrative figures: they are solved again on game data 1.1.x every time the static pages are generated.

These figures come from solving this template at build time.

Raw resource required from outsideRateUnit
Water 511.13 m³/min
Copper Ore 266.97 items/min
Iron Ore 87.85 items/min
SAM 81.22 items/min
Limestone 76.20 items/min
Coal 42.81 items/min
Nitrogen Gas 16.50 m³/min
Raw Quartz 10.16 items/min
Crude Oil 1.92 m³/min

Notes for building it in game

  • Put a generous buffer in front of each waste stage so that a stall downstream never reaches the reactors.
  • Keep the radioactive area away from the factory proper, and protect yourself with walls, distance and Iodine-Infused Filters.
  • Before starting, run the acids, water and supporting materials in first and confirm that the reprocessing line can accept them.
